General Terms and Conditions of Payment
1. Purpose
These general terms and conditions govern registration, participation, and payment for courses offered by the AIP Foundation, whether in person or online.
2. Registration
Registration is considered final upon receipt of the completed registration form and full payment (or a deposit, if applicable).
Any registration implies full acceptance of these general terms and conditions.
3. Prices
All prices are listed in Swiss francs (CHF) and include VAT where applicable.
The applicable rates are published on our website or provided upon request.
The AIP Foundation reserves the right to modify its prices, but the applicable rate is the one in effect at the time of registration.
4. Payment Terms
Payment for courses can be made by bank transfer or credit card.
Payment must be made:
- In full at the time of registration.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
By the client:
Any cancellation must be communicated in writing (by email or letter).
In the event of cancellation:
- More than 30 days before the start of the course: full refund minus a 10% administrative fee.
- Less than 30 days before the start of the course: 50% refund of the course fee.
- After the course has started: no refund.
By the AIP Foundation:
In case a course is cancelled by the AIP Foundation (e.g. due to insufficient enrollment, trainer unavailability, etc.), a rescheduling, credit, or full refund will be offered.
6. Absences and Make-Up Classes
Missed classes by the participant are neither rescheduled nor refunded.
For individual classes, rescheduling is possible if cancellation is made at least 24 hours in advance.
7. Responsibility
The AIP Foundation is committed to providing high-quality courses, tailored to the participants’ level and objectives.
It cannot be held responsible for the non-achievement of a specific result or targeted diploma.
Students must comply with the internal regulations of the Institut International de Lancy and ensure the proper conduct of classes. Failure to do so may result in exclusion without refund.
8. Insurance
The school declines all responsibility in the event of an accident occurring on school premises or during organized activities, except in the case of proven fault on the part of the school or its representatives.
The school cannot be held liable for damages resulting from the unpredictable or inappropriate behavior of a student or a third party.
Each student must ensure they have personal accident insurance coverage.
The school accepts no responsibility in the event of theft, loss, accident, or damage occurring on its premises or during classes.
9. Personal Data
Personal data is processed confidentially, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act (FADP).
Data is used solely for course management purposes and is not shared with third parties without consent.
10. Disputes and Applicable Law
In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first.
Failing that, the courts of the Canton of Geneva shall have jurisdiction.
Swiss law shall apply.
