Teacher training

The AIP Foundation offers teacher training programmes in partnership with University of Sunderland, a pioneer in international initial teacher training. Having developed the content for the PGCE Education qualification over 20 years ago, University of Sunderland now operates in more than 60 countries worldwide, notably through its online distance learning programmes.

The certifications and qualifications offered – the PGCE with iQTS or the PGCE from University of Sunderland – are internationally recognised, including for teaching in Switzerland. These postgraduate certificates in education provide international trainees with the opportunity to participate in a structured professional development programme.
